This project was developed as a demo for a course I taught at Arsutoria School, focused on the full surfacing pipeline: texturing, shading, lighting, and rendering.
The starting point was a 3D shoe model exported from ICad, which I used to walk students through the production process of creating realistic renders:
UV mapping, lighting, and rendering done in Blender
Texturing created in Adobe Substance 3D Painter
The exercise aimed to help students understand how to take a CAD model and turn it into a visually appealing asset ready for presentation or portfolio use.
Thanks to Arsutoria and the amazing students who joined the course!
