Sci-Fi Wall – Final Material

Another material done for my Futuristic Farm environment in Unreal Engine 5! This sci-fi metal panel wall was created entirely in Substance Designer, with a strong focus on scale consistency across all texture details.

Since this material is meant for large-scale surfaces, I carefully balanced the scale of the panel elements, dirt accumulation, and surface variations to ensure a realistic and visually impactful result. Every detail was fine-tuned to maintain the sense of massiveness in the environment.

The full scene is still a work in progress, but I’ll keep sharing the materials and assets I’m creating along the way. Stay tuned for more updates!

Futuristic Farm: Material Development - WIP #001

I'm currently working on a futuristic farm environment in Unreal Engine 5, and material creation is a key part of the process. My goal is to build a cohesive, high-quality asset library optimized for real-time rendering.

The first material in this series is a sci-fi metal panel wall, designed for large-scale surfaces. Using Substance Designer, I’ve developed a height and normal map pass to ensure strong surface details. Next, I’ll be working on roughness, albedo, and metallic maps to bring the material to life.

This project is an exciting challenge in blending industrial sci-fi elements with a farm setting, balancing realism and futuristic aesthetics.

PizzaHub Shuttle - MESH DETAILING ON SUBSTANCE PAINTER - WIP #004

I finally have some time to start working on an old project, THE PIZZAHUB.I tried creating a displacement map on Substance Painter to add some details on the mesh and make it more interesting.





I found the Substance Painter response really good.

ChainSaw Game Ready - TEXTURING part 01 - WIP #004

I see the light at the end of the tunnel...I finished textures of the clean version.

I would like creta a second version (dirty) and I will do it soon.

I know that in this images the details aren't very visible but I've done some draft render in Marmoset and the results doesn't look bad.

This step is a little boring for me, because I can't wait to start texturing step, but it is really important and necessary.
